Good evening Sunnies! :) I hope you're well! After yesterdays event (still going on this whole weekend), Ethno Tendance Fashion Week Brussels, today I choose to rest. Yes weird huh, on a saturday! Post about this amazing fashion show will be up next week by the way!
Today, I want to share a nice project of a friend, Sonia (I had mentioned her in this blogpost by the way, like a year ago haha!). She came up with this great idea to create a platform where she 'celebrates' the african women and her hair - BRAIDSKILLERS ! =)

Braidskillers is a platform aiming to highlight the beauty of African women by offering tips for different types of hair and beauty tips. From kinky hair to straight hair, Braidskillers will teach you how to sublimate and bring out the best of it.
Nevertheless, Braidskillers believes beauty is not only physical. It is also about what you release as an individual, what you bring to others and to your community. For this reason, Braidskillers will focus on self improvement and personal fulfillment, which are the cornerstones of well-being, self-confidence and the desire to give our all when we are doing something important for ourself.

I want to ask you to support her by a follow on her Facebook Page and by visiting her website. Don't hesitate to ask her any questions about african hair etc! Tell her I send ya! Have a beautiful weekend!  =D

Am VERY EXCITEEEEED !!!!! A lot of cool events are coming up and yowwww I can not wait ! :) I love this kind of season! This makes me think about and reflect on my first ever collaboration with Zalando last year – waaww still amazed! You may think that I am exaggerating but the smile on my face rightnow, … God is amazing! =D

At this moment, I feel like I am more motivated, more interested about life (??) and damn I am inspired!!!! And trust me, you also will be because this coming Saturday 14/10 there is a great event: TELL YOUR STORY! Beautiful African women are invited by HISHI to inspire other young, talented, gorgeous, powerful (and all the other beautiful adjectives) women!
I am one of the invites for the panel and to be honest I am a little little little nervous. Comparing (what I should not) to the others I feel like I am not interesting enough for you but hey, POSITIVE ENERGY: I am one of a kind and I know that I am here in the world for a certain purpose. And Saturday, I will share my story that is enough for me and I really really hope that I can inspire you, to be a perfect SUNLIGHT, just enough as you are! Gossshhh I am so thankful! Just wanna thank you again Sandra (@afrospolitain) for your phone call that made me happy that day (you know)! Can’t wait to see you all on Saturday my beautiful Sunnies!

PS: Don’t forget to register for the event! This is the link.

Other (fashion) events I am excited about and planning to attend:
- DS Brussels Fashion Days: 20-22/10
- Ethno-Tendance  Fashion Week Brussels: 27-29/10
- African culture and fashion show 2017: 3/11
- Pre-opening of Lussie’s Style: 19/11
