BEAUTIFUL SUNNIES!!!!!
Happy (end of) march, happy new season, happy you - HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!!
(Yellow firework!)

Wooaw, I have been lazy when it came to writing something on the blog. I just din't felt too ...  but I hope that this negative energy kinda thing is over because I feeeeeelll good and inspired rightnow and I just want to post more regularly!

But how have you been? Can we talk about you?! I know that I don't have any space on here for you to comment/reply or so ... Some of you tried to hack me, my website (and they really did) so yall got punished - no comment below héhé! BUT don't hesitate do slide in my DMs on the gram whenever you want to..  (talk, advice, questions, sharing your music of the moment, ... anything!)

I have been feeling very blessed, every single day! Really, and I have no words to describe this joy that I always feel but I hope to transmit it to you in any kind of way because I believe that everyone deserves to be and feel THE SUNLIGHT in life!
But then you can ask yourself, how to keep that sunlight? Well, I could be explaining a lot over here and we would start a debate but one thing is sure; STAY YOURSELF in every situation!

Some things have always helped me to keep that joy such as knowing myself and what I want, seeing the beauty in everything and not think about negativity at all. Can you relate or do you find it hard?
Also lately I have been appreciating and enjoying (these two words are different yoh) the little things even more. Like, Sunnies, believe me when I tell you that little things matter - for real! They can make a huge difference or have a big impact in your life. What are the little things that you have been appreciating lately?

I also have been trying to be more creative! I have noticed that I'm surrounded by artistic friends!!! Shout out to you "piece of art" of mine! I'm happy to have you in my life! =)
So here you have a picture you're not used to see from me! Serving you model face, bare feet and leg and a gorgeous Zara dress! We digging or naah, lol ??!!  SELFPORTRAITS aayyee!! :P =D
Damngg, there is a lot that I really want to do... I'm a *** artist!! Kidding! =D

Anyways, I want to end this pos by sharing todays Bible verse which is:
"Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - Psalm 34:14 ."

Voila, there you go - your #positiveenergy for the week! =D
Have a good one, enjoy life and its little things thàt matter and be you! Love you my beautiful Sunnies! Besos!

BEAUTIFUL SUNNIES !!!!!!!!! =D
Happy (fin de) mars, happy nouvelle saison, happy toi - HAPPY TOUT !!!!!!!!
(Feu d'artifice jaune!)

Shout out to you "piece of art" of mine (je ne sais pas si ca se traduit en FR..) #SELFPORTRAITS aayyee !!!!

Besos !

The Vintage Lady

VTL20

Hi guys! How have you been this week? We are in the middle so for the ones (like me) looking forward to the weekend ; we are almost there! 😁

This is a look from last sunday. Some of you saw the stories about it on Instagram. And yes I wore sneakers to church... I do that all the time, especially in the winter when I don't want put a lot of effort in my churchoutfit or when I have other"walking" activities afterwards, ... #lazysunday.
Both pieces, dress & coat, are thrifted, meaning second hand, got these FOR FREE. Later I will write a blogpost about why I love to thrift and probably make a video about it. If there are (some) other things you would like me to share with you, don't hesitate to ask me, I'm here for that! 😄

Dress:too big for/on me, is a size 38. My actual size is 32 (=xxs) or 34 (=xs) so you can imagine how big it is... BUT remember that belts exists for a reason! Belts have been my go to fashion accesories for a while now and I still love them. They're not only handy for keeping your pants on but they help make looks look good ànd make some dresses that are big have a SIZE OK. Just like on me most of the time. 🙂

Coat:also waaaay too big on me. With the belt aswell if I may be honest but at least the belt, which is also a thrift, gives it a little bit more figure, a more dressier look. What do you think? The coat is made of 100% pure wool. That is the reason that I didnt really need a scarf in that windy and rainy weather.

When I wore this outfit I felt quite tall and all "grown up", almost a grandma - a classy grand vintage lady. I know that this all looks big on but I felt good in it. Especially because the pieces are UNIQUE, they have a story! I don't know the ladies that wore these beautiful pieces but I know that that dress and coat have a nice story around them (the idea behind the creation, the making of them, ...). And thàt is what is fun about the whole look and makes it interesting! :)

Salut Sunnies!

ATL15 1037xBlack mesh top PRIMARK / Black High Waist Skinny Jeans PULL AND BEAR / Loafers H&M / Heels NEWLOOK

Finally an outfit post, yeeeyy! And a lookbook video on my YouTube Channel is coming so please guys be patient! You have seen this look on my Instastories/Snapchat but I thought why not share it on the blog to. So it is just a very simple look - an all black outfit! All you need to do is add a little something extra (here a blazer) and you’re good to go. Accessories are also important but I’m a minimalist, too much is not always necessary. Here I show you how to go from a casual day look to a chic night look. Another technique is just to switch the shoes and hoplaa!

What do you think about both looks? For me nowadays, looking clean and fresh is what I love to go for when it comes to my outfits. It is like looking “expensive” while being broke, you know what I mean. The blazer is a thrift by the way and I got it for free héhé! Ladies, looking good is also a part of being sexy. Issa basic. I hope you like the looks and that you get inspired! Love love :)

Amour

Modeling in the Flair Magazine

20170922 011111 2 692x

Ooit was Google Translate mijn beste vriend, hint! =)

Guyss!!!! My face is in the magazine of Flair!!! – Wow hold on for a sec, since when is this girl doing the magazines?! Just wait until she’s doing the covers too haahha, kidding (or not). =)

The day I got an email (and a text msg because this girls again was way too busy to check her mails) with the question if I wanted to model for the magazine, I was surprised and had a big smile on my face?! (I was at work, couldn’t resist my excitement and told my colleagues hahaha) And duuaahh, of course I had to say yes!!!

What you need to know about Flair is that it is a well-known Flemish women magazine that appears weekly in Belgium since 1980. Flair is aimed at women between the ages of 15 and 34 and the main themes of Flair are: fashion, beauty, health, sexuality, relationships and psychology.
Some readers ask questions about fashion like for example ‘my question’ was: How to wear a T-shirt on a creative/original way?  I was very happy when I got to know that I would model in my favorite fashion item – the T-shirt! And it is obvious that I was the perfect (hummn!) model for the fashion category. =)

So Catherine Kosters (the beautiful lady with the red fringe hairstyle) who works for Flair (fashion editor and columnist) contacted me to arrange an appointment. Fun to know is that Catherine is the sister of a friend/classmate of mine, Eveline (Hello gurl!). The shoot took place in Antwerp, at the Sanoma Studio.  When I arrived, two other models (for different questions) were busy doing their shoot and make up. I was blown away, thankful and all happy (damn I can’t describe this feeling!) because this was my first time doing this and live. I have always seen models getting ready for their shoots on tv or on the internet but this time it was me, playing model with her own MUA (Make Up Artist, for the ones that didn’t know what mua stands for, you’re welcome!), photographer and a personal STYLIST!!! That was the only person I was so excited about hahahaha, no but really, Iv always been my own personal stylist so this really was fun for me! (Continue reading for more about my thoughts about the looks).
Because the other girls were doing their shoot, I had to wait. In the meantime, I got asked if I wanted something to eat and I choose for yoghurt, was delicious by the way! I also took a before picture, where I looked all crusty and simple (please take a look of that face ahhaahaha). After that I tried on the three outfits that the stylist had picked for me. Catherine had told me that they were going to style me, and take into account my personal style and the stylist really did a great job!!  First look - love!  Idem for the second and last one! Want to know what my fave was? To be honest all of them were nice! But I think that the first one with the khaki trousers was my fave.  Ahhhh it’s hard to pick one – WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LOOK (it's obvious that you have to buy the magazine to check those nice oufies out!) and which look would you go for? And HOW DO YOU LIKE TO WEAR YOUR T-SHIRT?

After the fittings it was time for make-up! You can read all what they used in the magazine for the simple look. And then – shoooot! It was really fun; I was comfortable and shy at the same time.  The photographer helped me with the poses and Catherine was watching and both were giving me compliments and all, so sweet! This is definitely an experience I want to do again in my life! Thank You God =)

I was at the studio for 3 hours, everything went well, and I had a nice day and I just want to thank everyone from that day (even the taxi driver that took a very long way to arrive at the studio while talking about how we’re supposed to support each other in our community, very interesting)! Thank you Catherine for being so kind, your welcoming and you professionalism, thank you Isolde Roels for your gentle hands that painted my face from a “???!!!-look”  into a sweet look, thank you Liza Babylon for the fun tshirt looks, for your help zipping my dress and thank you Leen Van den Meutter for the pictures! - The whole Flair team was just perfect! I also want to thank everyone who helped me with the backstage pictures hihi!  =)
